Nice app when it works. If you try to animate an image with a lot of detailed masking and animation points (images that require hours of masking) the app reaches a point where it becomes unusable due to nonstop crashing. This is on an iPhone 8 with 50gbs of free space. I’ve tried rebooting many times as the support has suggested - doesn’t help. Good for simple images and animations.

At first it kept crashing but I had too many things going on in the pic I deleted all the animation marks I made and made it more simple and it works great. Keep it simple

The capabilities of this app are incredible, I found the editing to be easy and user friendly. The exported file looks great in my camera roll, but when I upload the file to Instagram it significantly loses quality and becomes blurry, so much so I deleted the post. Would love for this to be resolved so I can share the content I’m creating!

Thought that I was going to be wasting money on another cool looking app that didn’t work but Boy was I wrong. This app is easy to use and absolutely amazing. Best App this year!

4 stars because the app does not ask if I allow the access to my photos. You download the app and instantly it has access to the photos. Please dont say you do like on the other comments because YOU DON’T. Otherwise, the app is great.

I love playing with the app ever since I downloaded it! Great job! Suggestion: there should be a timeline to start animating part by part of the photo

I love this app and am completely supportive. Happy to pay for something that’s so well done. I had a question and couldn’t find an email link to ask (don’t use Facebook). Could this be adapted to work with Live Photo’s in the future? I don’t know the technical side of it so maybe that’s impossible. But it has me thinking it would be cool to take say a Live Photo with moving clouds in the background and grass waving and mask just the subject while leaving the rest with it’s real animation. Possible?

Im using the app on my instagram @guiamiami on some of my pictures! They come out very cool... Im recommending it to everyone.

This is a really fun app to being your photos to life. It takes a bit to learn and is absooitely worth it. Id like to see higher resolution and higher frame rate animates GIF options in a future update. Otherwise so cool!

Love this, I’ve been using it a lot for some pics. But ever since the last update it’s been crashing a lot :( hope you fix this soon.

I used this apps on my iphone 6s. Its work. I thinks this apps need to have some updated. We cant deleted our session when is finish the editing. That save on the apps and can not be delete (no option for delete). Update please!

Updated Review - I definitely still stand by my previous review below. But, I wanted to make a feature request and thanks if you will consider this request. Like another reviewer mentioned recently, I also am not really a fan of new the beeping sound effect that plays when you select an export option in the share menu. Would you please consider adding an "On/Off" toggle button in the apps Settings menu, or somewhere, that would allow us to turn off this sound effect please? I would be grateful to have that function and option please, as I find the "beeping" sound effect to be a little distracting, thank you. Sill, though, that is just a little annoyance in an otherwise perfect program in my opinion and I continue to highly recommend this exceptionally fun application. I believe that if you buy this app, that once you watch the in-app guide/tutorial and familiarize yourself with how the program works. Well, dont be surprised if you look up at your watch, clock or phone and notice that 30 or 40 minutes has just vanished while you were having lots of fun in, Plotograph+. That happens to me pretty much every time I open this application :-). Original Review - I have been having so much fun using Plotograph+ on my iPhone and iPad. To me, its definitely in a class all its own in terms of unique animation abilities and how flawlessly I believe it performs. I want to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to the developer for all of the work and dedication that was no doubt put into building, refining, patching, maintaining and improving upon this wonderful program. I use the application mostly with my artwork. And I just find that it really can help bring to life my crazy digital paintings. I like to put anchors around the eyes and mouth of a subject in one of my paintings. Then I draw the animate arrows inside those anchor points, and to me it looks so radical seeing the eyes and mouth move in all different directions. It makes it look like Ive created some monster or mutant when I do this. Im also glad with this update that the developer added high definition support for the exported .mp4 video files. I also should say how grateful I am that you chose to offer the .mp4 file format/container. Instead of just using, what I consider to be, Apples lackluster .mov format. Which, so many app developers unfortunately use with their programs on the App Store today. I appreciate that wise decision a whole bunch. Now, if we could just have the animated PNG and the animated Gif file be able to export in high definition as well, that would be just great I think. I do hope that youll please consider adding HD support for those two export options as well. Honestly, though, Im just thrilled and so thankful that you offer 3 export formats to begin with. So many programs of this nature arent that thoughtful or considerate with the ways that they offer to offload created work for the user. Im glad that this developer really has seemed to show that forethought for his customers ??, thank you very much for that. In conclusion, I believe that if you are looking for a fun new way to animate and bring life to your photographs. That, Plotograph+, is absolutely the way to go and is just so entertaining in my opinion. when i buy this app on iphone can i download ... but now i download from computer cant ...what happen this problem ... so i cant download in my computer can u refund my payment

Love this! Its way too much fun! I make cool things happen on still images. Its not like gifs. Its different. Visit their Facebook page and check out user posts.

This app came to my attention via DealNews as a free iOS download: it not only isn’t free, I can’t use it or get that money back, either. If I’d actually been able to “create” something with it, it might have been worth the deceptive (to me) price. I can’t. Beware. I’ve had nothing but headaches since downloading this app.

Im another person who refuses to upgrade iTunes because the feature of putting the previous version of an app into the Trash (where it can be retrieved and saved) has saved me multiple times when an app update was bad/crashed (just delete the app on the phone and drag the old version to iTunes to reinstall it via sync). The result is that Im constantly getting 404 error messages from iTunes attempting to download the app (since its already on my phone). Is this part of Apples plan to force us to accept YET ANOTHER feature removal from their increasingly annoying software?

Got this yesterday (Thanx to Apple for featuring this gem!) and I’ve been playing with it like crazy! It’s so easy to use and very fast. It does exactly what it says it does and the results are beautiful. The masking can be tricky, particularly if you’re only using your finger, but a stylus or Apple Pencil make things a lot easier. Another tip? Turn off rotation on your device so you can flip it round as needed. The magnifier works well but needs improvement. Currently the magnified view follows your touch so the view often blocks the area you’re trying to work on. It would be better / faster if the magnifier was centered over your view and all the editing happened within the circle. That said, the pinch-zoom is actually better anyway so it’s not a big problem. Just turn the magnification option off entirely. ? I love, love, LOVE this app and fear I’ll use it to death, driving all m’friends crazy. LOL! My only question is if this app supports iCloud. I installed Plotagraph+ on my iPhone and iPad and projects don’t sync between them. I’m worried that I’ll lose my projects when my iPhone X comes in. ?

This app accesses your photos without the prompt to give permission. Security flaw. Update: Developer responded saying that I do get prompted to access my Camera Roll. They are wrong. I do not.
