Awesome app I paid $5 for the full version. Now this last update dropped a watermark on every one you make, which you have to buy a subscription service to remove it. Greed. Greed. Greed. Dropped for 5 stars to 2 stars for me. Boo. *Updated* They fixed the watermark issue! It’s now back to a 5 Star app for me, thanks for listening to the people!

App went from great reviews to just one star reviews. That should say it all. Classic bait and switch bloatware and forced subscriptions.

Im only rating the new update and effects .......like rely guys a monthly subscription, i already payed 6.99 for the base app id be willing to pay another 6.99 for an update such as this or buy effects individually. When i did try to download a free effect to take a look, It tried to charge me $7 something on an effect that was labeled free. Guys no one likes monthly subscriptions im almost 100% sure of that fact. Still gonna give you all the stars in hopes that you see this read this and do something amazing because this app is pretty wild and i do enjoy it and my instagram is looking good ......

This was my favorite app that I had and with this upgrade, you guys completely destroyed it, switching to to PLOTAVERSE? Worst mistake ever. It was clean minimalistic PERFECT FOR A IOS. You should have left it as is and launched plotaverse separately... Also, you’re trying to compete with Instagram for a “social media platform” you’re going to fail, it’s smarter to keep a simplistic beautiful app like you HAD in the previous version. Please listen to the customers, it’s been nothing but NEGATIVE reviews since the launch. This is equivalent to Snapchats new upgrade, you’re shooting yourself in the foot and driving customers AWAY!

Thieves! Users who previously paid and used for the app before this dumb update should get the watermark removal by right!

The user interface is not very intutive, but its results are fun.

Anyone who bought this app before version 2.0 will be surprised next time they open it. You will now have a huge watermark display on every export unless you pay more money. If the developers didn’t force a watermark for previous users then this app would continue to be amazing. Instead, the loyal users are now forced to pay more for what they already paid for. If only the developers charged previous users for the new features only. Or offer a discount to make up for it. Nope. Now we have to pay full price for the subscription or deal with a huge watermark. Great. I would pay the subscription for the extra features if I wasn’t forced to make the upgrade. It’s disappointing because other than the the lack of trust, the app is wonderful and allows for amazing creativity.

Need my old version back without watermark for which I already paid $5. This is forced update and bait and switch.

Wow! Way to go and ruin a perfectly good app because you got greedy and want to change to a subscription model. I paid for a great app but accidentally updated it and now it adds text on top by force (unless I pay even more for their new subscription) The new UI feels like a Windows 95 app with buttons and options of all styles and fonts everywhere.

UPDATED -looks like they have removed the photograph logo so is back to the way it was before. I will give them kudos for listening and reversing back to the way it was before. Review goes from 1 star to 5 star. Bought the app last year and had some fun with it, but now with the latest upgrade the plotograph logo is placed on your animations unless you pay for a subscription. I paid for the app and now I have to pay for a subscription??!!! Just to put it in perspective, I pay a few more dollars for Photoshop CC subscription and get way more value than I get from a niche product like this. Im applying for a refund on the app. Total ripoff. And if I get a refund, great. But either way, the app is getting deleted.

It does what it says, after the update it’s now cluttered with the social media garb and harder to navigate, its about making some cool moving pictures and sharing them and your personal data with god knows who. Thanks for returning the features I had paid for in the original app.

I love this app and it’s hands down the best ever literally EVER made. I just wish I could get the 30 sec back, what happened?!

Enjoyed this app until they changed it from platograph+ to platoverse on my phone without me even knowing. its 4.99 a month suddenly if you want to save your work.

Developer kindly explained how new Plotaverse (improved Plotagraph) features and subscription upgrades work. I do enjoy the variety of new overlays provided. App has always been simple enough to use and fun for making animations from photos. However, I’ll just purchase each overlay as-needed and forgo the expensive (and much-encouraged) subscription. One problem—gifs now are very slow/jumpy/choppy when viewed in my Camera Roll.

Paid full price for this app, now they’re asking for five bucks to remove the watermark from my photos that wasn’t even there to begin with? Plus, a subscription just to access new features? Screw that, way to be greedy developers...? Edit: Five stars for removing the watermark! ?

I really loved this app before they added the subscription, they really should think about doing a one-time fee.

Edit: The watermark seems to have been removed for users who purchased the app before it moved to the in app purchases model. It should have been like this from the start but good on the developers for remedying the issue. Previous Title: App was 4.99 USD... Previous Comment: ...now those who bought it need to pay again to remove a giant watermark... Absolutely disgusting tactics that hurt early supporters. I will not be paying for any of your products in the future and I will encourage others to do the same.
